Retreat On East was created with intention, gratitude, and deep respect for those who care for others.
This home was never meant to be a flip.
It began as a renovation project, but life had other plans — and purpose had a louder voice.
I am a three-time cancer survivor. My mother, before she passed, was a four-time cancer survivor. Throughout those years, medical professionals were not just providers to our family — they were lifelines. Nurses, physicians, technicians, and caregivers showed up in ways that went far beyond clinical care. They offered steadiness, compassion, humor, patience, and humanity during some of the most vulnerable moments of our lives.
Those experiences changed me.
So when it came time to decide what this home would become, I knew it couldn’t simply be about profit. Instead of flipping it for a quick return, I chose to renovate it with purpose — to create a space designed specifically for the people who so often pour themselves out for others.
Retreat On East is meant to be a soft landing.
Every detail was considered with care: a calm, welcoming atmosphere; comfortable, thoughtfully furnished spaces; and a sense of peace you can feel when you walk through the door. This is a home designed for rest, restoration, and quiet — a place where you can exhale after long shifts, reset between assignments, and feel held rather than hurried.
As a caregiver myself, I understand the weight of responsibility, the long hours, and the emotional labor that comes with this work. I also understand how important it is to have a place that feels safe, clean, and genuinely nurturing when your day is done.
Retreat On East is my way of saying thank you.
Thank you for the sacrifices you make.
Thank you for the care you give so freely.
Thank you for choosing a profession rooted in service.
It is my hope that during your stay here, you feel supported, respected, and at home — even when you’re far from your own.
Welcome to Retreat On East.
A home created with gratitude, for those who give so much.
